I walked out in my garage the other day to find this guy crawling around.

I put him in the trunk of my car and drove him down the street to a lake in our neighborhood and set him loose. He seemed pretty happy.

While I was by the lake, I saw this pretty fellow and it took me awhile to get him to sit still for a photo.

All in all, it was a nice little diversion from cutting the grass.

Good photos Richard, and an interesting turtle saga. What is the critter in the last pik?

Nice shots,Robert..glad you gave the guy a home..:-)..he reminds me of how we had to stop a softball game once because we had one sauntering across center field..lol
Nice dragonfly..they are hard to capture..I found that early morning is good sometimes as they are still a little groggy especially if it's cool.

Nice pics. It was good that you took the time to return him to his natural habitat.

Thanks, all. Yeah, I'm just an ol' softie. Actually, I took him back hoping for some good pix of him in his habitat.:-)And he was so grateful, he obliged me.
