I remember a posting a while back, I think by Dawg, regarding the Vivitar DF 200. I also know alot of folks use Sunpak. I'm interested in the Vivitar. Dawg, do you still like the way yours works?

I still like it a lot, just haven't had much chance to use it lately as I work nights and don't get out to events where I might use it. Also been trying to get better at landscapes, I did do a "field test" to see how it works at different distances and liked it way better than the one on the camera. I also had previous experience with a vivitar flash back in the 70's and 80's on a Pentax SLR and never regretted the purchase. Vivitar offers real quality in their flashes. My oldest daughter still uses it every now and then and that's over 20 years of use and it still works. I'm not one of those folks that tries to tell anyone else what to get, so you'll have to decide for yourself, but I will say that I'm happy with my choice.
