Well we got another big storm last night..we got the tip of it but half an hour south got 4" in two hours...and a couple tornados south of there, too. These clouds were at the end of the storm as it was clearing in the west as the sun was setting.i should have used a tripod but there are just too many mosquitos..(could it be the excess water???)

I zoomed into them on this one to show the bubble effect..they were weird..usually these are at the beginning of a storm cloud and filled with hail.

They convey an eerie sense of impending doom. Nice shots. Seems like there are more and more of this type of clouds lately.

No kidding,Bob..second time time this year for those kind up here..but then again the weather is wacky this year so I think they may not be the last we see of them.
Thanks TD..yes..I just wished I had a wide angle to get them all..the whole sky was full of them and later they were pink from the sunset but I was already in the valley so didn't catch it.The leg is doing fine..got the stitches out yesterday ..and it healed good..no infection or blood poisoning.I may gross ya all out someday with a before and after....Thanks for asking!

Glad to hear the good news that your leg healed. I hope you don't have a limp.

Please... send us some rain!!!:OI'm not sure if it's you guys who are being punished or us.

Oh, yeah... the shot... I haven't seen the movie, but this looks like it should be in War of the Worlds. Very ominous clouds.

P.S. Take care of that leg... you'll need it to swim out of there soon. :-)

Hey Tom. Come on down to Alabama for the next few days and get all the rain you want. Dennis is gonna bring more than we need and you can take as much back home with you as you want.
