More great shots,Dawg!..I love the fourth one..looks like a couple taking stroll on the beach discussing the days events..("..did you see that great shell Dave picked up this morning?....")...and I love the colours on the last one..Great subjects you had there..:-)

Thanks Lisa!! I have always found that black feathers are really hard to work with. I just cant seem to get enough definition and clarity when that is the subject of my pic. Any help from the bird shot expert of the great White Wet lands??? LOL

hahaha..I don't think expert is the word..it's more like luck..and the angle of the sun and the sampling of the modulation of the lightwaves and the resonation of the hyperbolic frequencies involved (I just made that all up):-)....yep..just luck in my case..lol.All I do is try to focus on the eyes..I read long time ago to do that but I think it's an universal fact that black is difficult to photograph on animals.So all we can do is shoot shoot shoot and rely on our editting programs..LOL.

The hard thing to do is focus on the eyes when they are black too!! LOL Well I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one to rely on lady luck to get some good shots!! As for the rest of your explanation, I'll give my wife's best reply...HUH??? lol
