I have a hunch we are going to have some storms tonight.It's a 111 F here right now with the humidity and theres lots of moisture in the air so something should be brewing up.I know a tripod is in order but what about settings?I tried last night but we only had sheet lightning.Any suggestions?..Thanks..:-)

I can't really help you here Lisa. If there are storm here and lightning, it won't show until it's right over your head. Just too many trees in the way. Not enough space to safely get them!! We'll keep you bumped up on top until someone gives an answer.
