Finally got some Finches attracted to my feeder. The only problem is that the Sparrows keep interupting them. I might have to seperate the feeders.

Nice shots Bob. Great yellows on the finches. The only feeder my wife might let me set up will be humming bird feeders. She doesn't think of them as birds. All the rest are dirty pests!! LOL Keep posting my friend.

Nice little flock of yellow there,Bob!..glad to see they arrived..even with the sparrows.Moving the other feeder should do the trick as the sparrows will figure out they can't get their fat little beaks in the finch feeder sooon enough and eventually leave.

Great shots Bob. The finches are my favorites, that's what we get most of around here. Some mourning doves, and the occaisional cow bird.

Thanks for the comments. I get a real kick out of watching these little guys. Dawg, if your wife will let you put up Hummingbird feeders, go for it. Friday night just a little before dark, I was sitting on my front porch where the hummer feeder is, and the little guy flew up and hovered about 2 feet in front of my face and checked me out for several seconds. It was pretty cool. (course I didn't have my camera, LOL)

LOL. yeah, I hear you Dawg. I've been thinking that maybeI need a pocket sized camera for the times when I just don't feel like toting along the 6490.
