ok got the Merkury 2X replacement
as I suppected it wasnt any better than I had already seen
turns out the guy has been testing his lenses with a 3X optical
camera, he said hes goin to have to get a 10X to test with
we talked and goin to try an exchange brands to a Bower 2X
but I have to kick in a little more $$ which is fine with me
will let you know what happens with the Bower next week

Don't kick in too much $$. Bower are very soft lenses. I tried a couple in NYC last summer and was really not impressed.

Well he said that if I wasnt happy he would give a full refund
excluding shiping
so I'm not goin to be out all that much
but I cant afford a TCON or some of the others
