It was the Power Slave tour, can't remember the year. Their security chief, a Brit about my size kept walking by and looking. Then the Security for the Von Braun Civic center ganged up on me and ushered me out. They wouldn't listen to me at all. Just put me outside the doors and told me not to come back in!! I believe Twisted sister opened for them that year. Hey Paul did you offer to fence with Bruce. That seemed to be his passion back then. Man that guy had loud leather lungs!! And by the way I've been a head banger before there was such a thing!!!lol

The wife had the tele lens in her shopping bag or I couldn't have gotten in with it. As I said no flash and an all manual Pentax K-1000. The lens multipliers didn't seem to bother them. All hand held, no tripod. That would probably have gotten me arrested . LOL Like I said the good old days!!!

Awesome Dawg! Maiden rules! Notice my user name :-). I've been a metal/maiden fan since somewhere in time came out. My first concert wasnt until 7th son though.

Thanks for sharing the memories.

I remember Overkill, I had their album "Taking Over" from the mid-to-late 80's. I played it quite a bit and I remember it getting scratched and throwing it out of the window.

Rock 'n Roll.
