I found this guy/gal cruising around on the rail on my deck this afternoon.We have tons of ladybugs up here but have never seen a white one.

I don't know what made me do that... Oh, yeah... about three years ago we had a biblical infestation of asian ladybugs. They looked almost like the local kind but they had a funny smell and they bit!

nice shot, though.

Hahaha,Tom...thats what I thought at first too..but after a little research on this digital medium..I found out it's a Fifteen-spotted Ladybug/beetle. Just when you think you've seen everything....lol.And I did read about those asian ones while looking this up...they sound nasty..Photography is great,eh..not only do you get to take and see picturs..you get an education..:-)

Nice shot Lisa !! I've never seen a white one either,I agree about getting an education along the way !!! I've seen so many things,and then looked up more information about them.Isn't the internet and digital cameras the coolest thing !!ha!ha!

Thanks Sandy and MrBlue!..I'm sure in my slavic background it must be a good luck omen..everything else is..lol.I agree Sandy..it is a wonderful medium this digital format..right down to this forum..you see other's photographs and learn about other places and things and on a more personal level.I really am happy I bought a Kodak..:-)
