Ok I'm sure everyone is sick of moons but its taken me about 500 shots to finally get a few I liked, so you have to look at them:-).........edit- resized pic

Sorry I didnt include the settings Ts...1st pic-F8, 1/250, 100iso. 2nd- f8, 1/80, 100..3rd-F8, 1/400, 100....took about 50 shots and played up and down with the settings.

Did you use a tcon?Did you use optical or digital zoom?

Dan, don't get mad now.... Just a suggestion. How about trying a noise filter on that third shot!!

Nice shots, Dan. I like #2 the best. That Moon isn't an easy subject is it?

Has your Son had any luck with recovering your pics yet?

Tsims...yes a Tcon and full 10xoptical zoom on all.

Dawg, I would never get mad at anyone's suggestions( at least about photography lol) Thats why were all here, to help and learn from each other. And you're right I think that would help

Bob..I was gettin afraid it would be harvest moon before I got a good one:-)....No luck on recovery of pics or anything else on the drive. He says it was completely empty, as though it had been reformatted.Still don't understand what happened. I'm suspectin some kind ofvirus? Most everything else on there was backed up or easily replaced, just the new pics that were lost. A tough lesson, but one I'll remember
