Sometimes my replacement battery (non kodak) doesn`t hold its charge very long, other times it does.At the airshow my kodak battery lasted all day,4hrs,nearly 300shots.I let the batteries drain right down ( til the camera shuts off) before I recharge, this seems to work.

I've had no reason to complain about the Kodak ones I've been using TD. My own fault ,leaving the charger and spare battery in North Carolina. Now I need a new charger and spare battery or two. The 512 Sandisk cards I use allow you to take up to nearly 400 photos and the batteries I've been using can almost match that!!

LOL,, I didn`t know it was your forgetfullness that has led you to buy a new battery and charger.I have the Viking 512 card, works very well,I think they are re-badged sandisks??.

Don't you just hate it when you think of a song and can't get it out of your head for the rest of the day :G
