Firstly,a death defying shotfrom the DX7440 (check out the barrel distortion at wide angle).

The chalk cliffs are falling into the sea, so this view will be gone soon.

Next, one from our CX6230 beast.

As you can see, there is a half house at the end.

Well you better hurry up Dan, there will be nothing left of it soon.
I'll see what's left of London either tomorrow or Wednesday.

The people will still be there. The heart and spirit of the people is what makes any country great!! Nice shots Paul! Like Dan I've always wanted to visit there, but at my age and income I'll never see that happen! Shame for your country,,,, they'll never meet me in person!!! LOLOL

Excellent shots, Paul. I would love to see that in person. It's a shame about the erosion. How fast do you figure it is dissapearing?

I know what you mean about your income not allowing for a trip over there, Dawg, I've been wanting to go for about 20 years now....:idea:Hey, I know, everybody should take up a collection to send a certain Indian to the U.K. Just think not only would you be helping me to fullfill a long held dream, but I could be one heck of a diplomat, LOL. Think of the pics I could share.

Just a thought

I was hoping you didn't remember that Dawg. They kept sending them back because they didn't know what to do with such a sophisticated group of people, LOL. Bear grease, eagle feathers, deerskins and a bone breastplate, that had to be a hit with the house of lords, LOL

Thanks for looking gents.
The cliffs can lose 30ft without warning, but it's stable-ish at the moment.

Nice shots Paul,it's good that you got them while there still there to shot,I believe in trying to capture memories of things that we know for sure are going to be gone and future generations will only share them through our pictures
