Hi, I just have a general question. Do I need a high speed SD card for Kodak v550 to record movies?

NO - Sandisk "Normal Speed" 256MB of 2 yrs ago

Movie recording will stop at about20 sec to complain the SD is too slow.

Yes - Toshiba "Normal Speed" 256MB of 2005

Yes - Sandisk Ultra II 1GB of 2005

Besides movies, for still pics, a faster SD card will also improve the shot-to-shot time from 2sec to 1sec (Sandisk "Normal" vs UltraII").

Naw, I live life upside down. I get off work at 10:30 at night and stay upt till about right now. then I get up in the morning at 8:00 and that's my afternoon when the wife allows an Icehouse or two. I nap from 11:00 or 11:30 till 1:00 and then go to work around 2:00 in the afternoon. Been doing this for about 6 years now and have fallen into a routine!!
