Hello,

Is the kamera's internal usb connector a standard usb connector or kodak specific?

Also if connected to win xp, does it appear as a usb memory (allowing file copying), or do one have to install kodak specific usb drivers?

Thanks for any answer

I know on my DX6490, the usb works fine with XP. I just plug it into the camera and turn the camera on and the card appears as a removable drive. You can copy and paste like any hard drive! No special Kodak specific cables or drivers are required!

Thank's for the info. So this (generic ub support and that the camera usb port is standard) probably applies to v550 as well.

IMHO a important features - pictures can then be uploaded to a friends WinXP PC or to work WinXP PC without installing kodak software!

Well if any kodak v330 owners has different experiences, please komment!
