After having gone through the exercise of measuring the properties of my close-up filters, I stumbled upon this website which has a lot of information of value to anyone using diopters in any kind of photography. Check it out. http://medfmt.8k.com/mf/diopter.html

To my relief, most of my measurments were very close to the more scientific readings on the website. I'll check my figures when I get a chance.

Cheers,

Thanks Tom for all the good information, I got a #1, 2 and 4 today and am just about exhausted from having so much fun with them. I will post a couple of photos and please let me know what I can do to make better.
