How did you know????? You haven't told the wife yet have you?????? Please don't!!! She'd kill me right now!!! LOL Haven't really made up my mind which one I'll buy or if it would be better to wait on the next round of improvements. I'd really like the 850 but with all the improvements in the 880!! And like ColdSnail, I'd like to see all the features of the 7440 and the 850 and the 880 combined to give one world beating camera. They(Kodak) have gone only half way to where I'd like to see the next camera. A DSLR??? No!!! But a FULL FEATURED Camera that meets almost all the digi-cam fans needs and wants!!

I agree Dawg. They will need more than that to get me to buy a new camera. It seems they are starting to listen to what we want , but I would be surprised if many 6490/7590 owners upgrade just yet

As long as this old 6490 can hold up and continue to shoot such good photo's( I've seen the ones posted here by every one) I'll probably give it a good home!!

Ihave fiew 55mm filters. I plan to buy a TCON-17.

How will pictures turn out if I put filter betwen adapter and TCON? Im trying to avoid buying new adapters.

The only difference when adding filters in a stack will be a very slight darkening on the right side of the photo that becomes more noticable when you zoom back.

Dawg

Here are a few taken with the TCON and filters. I used a 55mm polorized filterand a Skylite1-A filter stacked with a TCON-17.
