I've often told the wife that's the way to tour. She doesn't like the cookin and cleanup. I like sleepin' out of doors. We'll probably compromise and do a little of both. She has to recover first. Making slow progress but progress just the same. Hope depression doesn't set in as she can't do all the things she feels she should. You'd think she would like seeing me cook and clean and wash, but she feels guilty not doing her "job".

It's a lot of fun but it can be hectic sometimes to.It all depends on how far we are traveling and how long we stay in one place as to the cooking part.We do like breakfast cooked at camp, then most of the other meals are while we are site seeing.

About 4 years ago,(our first long trip) we rode to South Dakota) Mount Rushmore, found a nice campground, stayed a week, and was close enough we could ride so many different places during the day and come come back to camp,we rode almost 4,ooo mile round trip in 10 days.Hard a ball, best vacation we ever had.

The main thing with your wife is to try and keep a positive attitude,it's hard I know .I had cancer 11 years ago and took treatments for several months, without keeping a the attitude that I was going to be fine I wouldn't have been able to deal with it,family support is good medicine too.She will be fine it just take time

Give hear my best regards to a speedy recovery
