Please do post them Sandy. That is one nice bike for touring. My dad owned one and had it totaled when a Greyhound bus rear ended him. Scooted him down the road for about half a block. Luckily no serious injuries as he was 71 yrs. old then!! I'd love to see the pics of the whole setup!!

Nice bike, a 1200 Wing if I'm not mistaken.....

I used to use an '81 GL500 Silverwing (a CX500 that looked like a GL1100) for dispatch riding and killed it by putting 120,000 miles on it in 16 months. Great bike for distance work but a bit tricky in London.

When the kids have grown up, me and my wife plan to get a decent old Wing and just disappear into Europe for a few months with it, but I don't think we will need a trailer.

Owned a CX500 Custom. Got it from a man that had bought it new and had it for 4 yrs. and only put 250 miles on it. virtually new bike. I put 110,000 miles on it and then sold it for 1200 dollars. 500 dollars less than I paid for it. Great bike. Totally trouble free. Same color of dark red just no fairing or back bag. Oh,yeah, Paul. Hows the cab driving going??

Sandy here is one of my dad in the late 70's I think, on a CB350 I fixed up for him and gave to him on Christmas day. My mom had a fit. I wound up driving it back home and keeping it there for a month before she'd let him ride it!!

He did not get to ride much when my mom was alive. After her death he remarried and he and my step mom rode all the time. Like that camper. That is just the right size to go places. Not hard to set up or break down. Put it nearly anywhere. Best to use the Motels though in the really hot weather and the really cold!! Thank you so much for showing them to me and the world wide web!!
