Here's a couple churches in a small hamlet near here..I am in always in awe that for a town of 400 there are such elaborate places of worship for a dwindling population. This is the Ukrainian Catholic one here...

That TCON is a handy tool. I believe you might have used a polorized filter too!! Really nice shots Lisa. Send more soon and tell us in detail how you captured them!! For the newbies ( Think Dawg here) You know!!

Thanks for the kind words everyone!..and Dawg..altho I do have the technology now for polarization:lol:..I didn't use a filter on these shots.I was surprised at how true to blue (?) the sky came out when I dloaded them and I just cropped them..I remember it being a very very hot day..close to 100..and it was cloudless sky.Think I got lucky with the colour..:-).As for detail in how I took them..like the majority of my pics..out of the window of my car and and on Auto (I must try other settings some day lol).
..and since you asked,John..here's a couple more that show a little more detail..and I'll remember you in the future..we have many many of these churches peppered around my part of the world(Perogy Belt of Manitoba).:-)
