SR-71 WOW what a machine and was the fastest in the air and may still be, leaks like h.e.l.l. on the ground but tightens up in flight

Apparently, strictly speaking, it's an A-12 - assuming it's this one:

Yes it is an A12/SR-71 Black Bird supplied by Lockheed to the U.S. Space and Rocket Center museum in Huntsville. The A12 is the one man version and was givenup to NASA by the CIA when the 2 man version was adopted!!


As for them changing their photo's none of these were by them. They were all taken by me this morning!!

Sorry Ian, I see what you mean. Those were taken around the early 90's or so and the museum decided to remove the Nasa logo, I guess when thry repainted it!
