So, does anyone know when the p850 will be available? All I've heard is "coming in August". Very vague. And disappointing, not knowing when/if you are going to come.

I currently have a Panasonic FZ5. Great camera, but I'm always looking for something new and different. I love it's remarkably compact size. Hoping the p850 is on par with it. (I've compared the dimensions. They are close, but need to see one in person...)

Soon I hope and in my local store. I can't see myself driving all the way to Rochester just to see a camera.

I also can't wait to test it out(p850) at the store or at least see some reviews. I recently was playing around with the Z730 and thought about buyingit(plastic not cash)but I compared the pics to my CX7530 on my lcd in the storeand didn't thinkit was that much better as far aspaying $300 smackers. So hopefully we will see something soon.

Dawg, we here in Rochester would always welcome someone to our wonderful community.
PS - I have seen hide nor hair of a P850 here either.

Did somebody say Free Beer?

I shouldn't really post this here (because I took it with a D70), but feel it should be included with beer hosses.

I call this one, Four Horsepower (Or Hoss).

Dan, I can see it now! I show up on your doorstep and you say Dawg WHO!! LOL

Nice hosses Paul. They look big enough to haul two beer wagons.
