I noticed that there is a 52mm and a 55mm adapter for the DX6490/DX7590. What is the difference in using the larger one over the smaller one? Is there an advantage in using one or the other (filter wise ) ?

Thanks for any Info
Darrell

Darrell, There can be a problem with vignetting with some 52mm filters or lens. The edges of the outer rim can become part of the photo. It would be worse as the length of the lens and or filer gets longer. The camera was set up for 55mm not 52mm. Saying that you may find some cheaper filters and lens in the 52mm range and if the length stays short you might get by without the vignetting!

Unless you already have some 52mm equipment, I would definitely recommend the 55mm.Kodak only sells a 55mm adapter and that tells me something.
