I took my brand new Z740 on vacation. I took photos for a couple of days and was shooting a long video sequence when it simply died. I tried new batteries and even plugged it in a dock at a store, nothing. Amazon was on the stick and replaced it immediatley after just one email. What I cannot figure out is what happened? Is there a limit to how much video one should shoot? I am using a 512 meg card.

I wouldn't think so!! I've filled my 512 card several times taking video's. The 6490 I have is supposed to take videos untill you run out of memory, and it does!!

OK, the card was nowhere near full, I guess it was just a lemon.
