Does this happen to all of us.....So the alarm goes off at 4:30, just like everyday, I get up and let the dogs out. WHOA...the moon hits me right in the face!..I quickly dart back in, grab the 7590 and tripod and run to the front deck...In my haste, Jake's tail caught in the door, and he yelped, which musta woke up the wife..As I'm standing on the deck, clad only in boxers with an unlit cigarette in my mouth, out comes Linda, who takes one look at me and says" I should've known ...What the h*ll is wrong with you.." As she turns around I say the only intelligent response " Don't slam the door, you'll shake the tripod".....anyways heres my reward just resized F8, 1/60, 100

Good moon shot Dan - I hope Linda lets you and Jake out of the dog house soon.

LOL. Yeah, sounds sorta familiar. You will get that weirdo thing, until you get the first check. Then you'll get "you aren't bringing the camera"? lol. My family was embarrased by my snapping everything and getting on my knees and ground all over the place, but one day I got a check for $300 and they are very accepting now!

My wife has resigned herself to being married to a nut!! Course that happened about 37 years ago, so the new camera hasn't changed things much!!! LOL Very nice shot Dan!!

Great shot,Dan!!..the things we do, eh..lol.I went out three nights (on a quiet backroad) in a row trying to get a nice orange harvest moonrise..met some skunks..got lost...and learned shorts don't have that warmth factor anymore. And didn't get one picture that I was satisfied with....Nice reward for your efforts!!!:-)
