I like your lichen,Pablo..great shots!..when I was up north we would chopper to some remote tower sites and the rocks would be covered with it..but my little HP just couldn't get such wonderful shots such as yours.Great colours.

Thank you, we are luckyto have the variety of colors and yes Lisa, a friend of ours is on a long vacation and sends HP photos.

No Dan it is not ice, it is a crusty growth that you would not want to put in your drink.(Unless you had already had sereral drinks)

Thanks Bob, it does look like ice - I just heard some of the bigger ones can be hundreds of years old.

That's what I've heard too, Pablo. I work with a guy that is working towards his masters in biology, and he says it can be over 500 years old, and be the size of a quarter. Seems amazing doesn't it? You have more color in yours then we have here.
