Is the life of the KoKak print cartidges truly only the designated25 or 40sheets that the cartridge is packaged and sold with?

Has anyone tried toget more out of their print cartridge than this by using non-Kodak 4" x 6" paper after they run out.

Thanks.

Hi,

A friend of mine have a printer dock and the 40 prints pack just do 30 prints.

The paper is sold with the "ink". Like this, he have a lot of kodak photo paper.

It was betterif paper and "ink" was sold separetly.

Print per sheetwith almostany printer is outrageous. It's no cheaper with my HP Photosmart 130. I got the 130 for $6.00 at a yard sale, that cut the cost.

there is no "ink." there is a cartridge. maybe this is not the same printer? i have been through several cartridges to date and theymatch the paper supply exactly.

i thinkkodak's dye sublimation printing is better thanink-jets becausethe printscannot smudge and the clear coat protective layer prevents colors from fading.price per print is dropping as kodak has comeout withcartridges andpaper in larger volume packages.

if your friend continues to get such a large difference between paper and cartridge (and this is the first i have ever heard of such a discrepancy), i suggest that eithersomething is wrong with the printer or he is perhaps buyingcounterfeit products...

Hi,

When i said "ink" it was something that paint the paper.

I used the pack of 40 and it did only 30 pictures. The 31th was coloring average.
