I caught these yesterday.Me and my Dad were recovering his van after he crashed it,he`s fine ,the van had to be scrapped. He was in the middle of nowhere and had to walk for 1hr to the nearest phone,(no mobile signal):G
As my Dad was clearing the van out ,I had a walk around and took some snaps.

Good shots TD, I'm glad your Dad was not hurt. Did you have to zoom a lot or did the sheep let you get close?

Glad to hear that your Dad is okay, TD. Nice shots...love the view. Is that a Village in the background of the 2nd one, or just a large homestead?

Yep dawg,a Landrover with trailer full of slate skidded into him on slurry from a muckspreader. He had done a lot of work on the engine of his van ,and was starting on the body work this week :-)

Bob ,I think the houses were a small village,I`m not familiar with the area.My Dad does a lot of work out in the sticks. He is a painter and decorator, and does alot of work on churches and old country houses. Thanks all for the feedback.
I got it wrong , he walked for an hour to his place of work, and his mate gave him a lift home.
TD

here is my Dad sulking, he`ll kill me if he knew I`ve posted this

See those grey hairs,,,Idid that, during my wilderness years:-)

I think he was contemplating murder by the look om his face. Can't say as I'd blame him that van did take a whalop!
