This is day 4 of owning a 6490. I've done afew short movies starting by mistake ofcourse. Today I tryed a shot on this house I'am remodling. within 5 or so minutes the card was full, if that long. I did have about 10 + pic's on it. I have a 128 MB card. Is this about as long as I can get out of a 128 MB card ? I see 512 cards for sale at around $60 thats seems quite high. Or am I going to have to carry around a computer and generator to download the camera every 5 mins (LOL) These are not 6490 photos

Kodak says about 8 minutes video on a 128card so thats about right. I think you said you bought your cam used? Did you get a manual? If not you can go to Kodak's website and download itor view online. Theres also lots of good info there

Check the sales for sd cards..you can do better than that

I bought a 1gig card to use with my 6490 and I advise you to do also if you are going to take movies. At one point I had about 20 minutes worth of movies in the camera with about 40 pics of a store remodel where I work with room left over.
