I recently brought my DX7630 into FutureShop for repair. (7 weeks came back broken) So they were willing to exchange to a new cam with the same options and quality. It turned out that the only model available was a Sony (8MP) DSC-F828. But because it was more expensive they were not willing to honor the extended warranty I purchased. After 1.5hrs of arguing I settled on a Kodak Z740.

What I am looking for is proof for comparing the quality of these two(three) cameras. The employee at FS was condescending and treating me like he was better and smarter than I and trying to tell me how wrong I was in trying to compare these cameras.

Is there some kind of substantial proof (even technical authority's on the subject would be enough for me, so I can go bacl and stick it in his face) that I can get here to help compare which camera is better. Kodak DZ7630, Kodak Z740 (which I now have) and the Sony DSC-F828 (which is the one I wanted exchanged for).

Any Help would be Great.
