A very favorable review of the v530 was just posted to the PC Magazine website. It replaces the Canon PowerShot SD300 as the PC Magazine ultracompact Editors' Choice. Good to see some recognition for the v550's little sibling (I own a v550, btw), which doesn't seem to get much discussion around it. The cameras are identical except for the LCD screen size (smaller in v530), camera size (slightly smaller on v530), battery (retail price is higher on v530's battery), optical viewfinder (none in v530), button placement (better IMHO on v530, no weird blue glowy things), camera pouch (none included with v530), and price (cheaper for v530)

Yes, it was a very nice review. However, the V-550 with an optical viewfinder may appeal to more folks.
