Hello everyone,

I am about to buy this camera but hesitate a bit because they list the memory card type as SD/MMC Card. I know what a SD card is, but SD/MMC really confuses me.

Anyone can give me descriptions of this card.

Thanks,

John

sd is secure digital and mmc is multi media card, mmc's are a little longer, and thinner than secure digital cards. I'm sure there are more things that are different, but either one can be used. http://www.flashcards.co.nz/knowledg...s-sd-card.html

Thank you, Steve. The article in the link is very helpful. I already bought a 512-Mbyte SD card for 30 USD (including shipping). The camera is working great, especially for a beginner.

Thanks,

John
