Peter.........I'llguess atone thing. No matter what camera you buy, or where you buy it from. After awhile you will find things about it that could be different. You find things you wish it had. You'll find things you'd wish it did better. You'll also find options you never thought you would use that you now can't live without. Then you will be amazed at things it does. I do not know of any one camera that can do everything with perfection. I can not believe any pro photographer once he gets the details of his assignment goes out the door with one camera. I bet he takes three or more bodies and a host of lenses. I just hope you get a camera as close to what you need as possible.

I can see why you are trying so hard to get it right Peter. I don't blame you at all. But sooner or later you'll have to commit to one or the other. I just hope it will satisfy your needs and fufill your wishes. Good luck!!

techgeek,

you are right, it 'ld be the solution of the problem to find a retailer with a return policy. But these retailers with shops are too expensive.

I want to buy the camera from a retailer in the internet (about 100,- to 150,- € cheaper). These guys haven't a return policy.
First let me say I am not one topromote any particular retailer.
But recentlyDell had it for $364 USD, and their return policy is 21 days.
It's not a fly by night camera shop with no return policy.

Have you really shopped around much?
Whywoulda few bucks prevent youfrom getting it?
For $400 USD it's worth EVERY PENNY!

try theseretailer listings:

hope that helps, good luck

I'm off to a new topic...regards
