no moon and the weather is very CLOUDY!

you guys make this look so easy. So a few nights ago I grab the ol camera and try the moon. welllllll I think the wife hide the tripod. This is just a hole the in thr trees. But hey see we really do have a red moon also

Yep you need that tripod! LOL You'll find it is everything but easy! On the surface you'd think well that's easy to do. Then after you shoot up a whole bunch of shots and they don't quite make it you'll begin to understand. I've gone out and shot off 20 or 30 shots and got only one or two that were worth keeping. LOL after a while you get the touch down pat and start getting 1/2 or 3/4 of the shots good enough to keep! Keep shooting them and keep posting them. Look at the settings listed on others photo's and it will get easier! But above all have fun doing it. Life is all too short!

Tech..............I'll add that my shot was taken before dark. It was still very light out.
