Here's my nephew posing with an oldKodak camera.
It was madearoundthe40's or 50's.

They sure have come a long way!

Back then you had to do more to get good photo's. Them one time use flash bulbs sure got hot!

Tom, my condolances on thepassing of a relative of yours, Larry Laprise.A friend of mine from Salt Lake City, UT emailed the news. Millions of us as young folk enjoyed his music and the dance he created, "The Hokey Pokey" but we never knew who to thank for it until the story ofhis passingrevealed his name. A audience participation entertainer to the end, it is reported his last wish was to have his family place him in the coffin. And things went quit well until they put his left foot in, ... and then the fun began.

Do these count as old????? two on left are Kodak. two on ringht are anso afga. some where here I have a bownie thats only been used afew times, box, flash, paperwork ect. I even some of those new kinds Instamatic, you know the ones you just drop the flim in. What won't they think of next ?? Oh try to buy a flash bulb or flash cube. When i do come across them is Ebay the next day (lol)

You have no idea how many times I've heard THAT one. Yes, he was a relative-- distant cousin on my dad's side. I never knew Larry. And all the times I did the Hokey Pokey in roller-skating rinks...
