I transfer mine by inserting the memory card in a " card reader" that pluges in my pc. A friend of mine wants to transfer to his pc without using his dock or software and all I could tell him is how I did it. Is there a way to transferwithout using a card reader or dock? Thanks -- Pablo

If the camera is capable of connecting directly to the computer with a USB cable, then yes. Of course, the cable may be an optional accessory if it's available.

Ifthe cameracan't use a USB cable, then you're stuck with either a card reader or dock.

There is a plug in to connect the camera directly to the computer Pablo! Pull up the bottom rubber cover on the side and there is a jack to connect a USB cable to the camera and the computer!
