The best school is the school of hard knocks. That's the one I got my degree from. You just shoot, shoot and shoot some more. Get involved in the different forums and enter any challenges that are put forward. Take some photo's that you think are good and ask for a critique! You'll get one for sure and in the process find different ways to improve! Just a thought!

Dawg is right...

Shoot whatever interests you, and post for critique, people will give you feedback, and you can learn a great deal from it. For example, if someone says a shot need more DOF (depth of field), you can search it on google, and study it, even print it out for reference. This way was easier for me to learn, as it allowed me to learn at my own rate, and stay in my comfort zone.

Thanks Dawg & John for the suggestions of posting pics. I am trying to do that now but apparently my pic is to big. I'm trying to resize it now. I found a link in another message I found after doing a search. It is a great post about how to attach an image. But I need to resize. Working on that now.

Microsoft has a resizer included with their winXP power toys. I forget the exact address but will look it up when I get off work.

Kacy go here and look down the page on the left hand side and download the image resizer for XP. All it does is resize photos.

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx

While there check out all the other power toys. There is some neat stuff there!
