Does anyone have a 1.4x or larger setup, How well does it work for you. Anyphotos of the setup?

I am looking for some help on this. Should I just buck up and get the setup from Kodak or is there somthing better out there?:?

My experience with the Kodak 2X teleconverter has been bad, images are soft when handheld, detail is always lost, and fringing gets REALLY bad. Alot of users here seem to use the Tcon, and I have seen some good results.

KODAK TCON 2X................I've not seen that one. But I do like the Oly TCON 1.7X ( p/n 200862 )I have. It's a bit stronger then the KODAK 1.4X and less money. I use it onthe DX7590 and P850.

Love my TCON-17. If I had to keep only one lens or filter and get rid of all the others,,,I'd keep the TCON.

I too love my Tcon17, works great on the dx7590. BUT it seems like I remember reading some posts on dpreview of the Tcon not working well with the p880, lots of vignetting even at full zoom. My thinking is maybe cause the 880 doesnt have a lot of zoom to start with. You can search the p880 posts here

Prpbably need to use it at full optical zoom or nothing else as it is a wide angle camera to start with!
