I've been searching for a new camera, but I have a VERY limited budget of no more than £120.

Most of the pictures I take are of my sons and rabbit, mainly in doors, but occasionally outside. Macro photography - mainly of the rabbit - are also important. (I'm a writer, and my editor often asks me to provide photos for mine and other's featueres).

Until now I've beenusing a Fuji FinePix A201. Just 2 megapixels, but it was adequate. I tried an HP R707, but hated it. How it ever won awards, I' don't know. about 15% of the pictures I took were misfocused.

Anyway, the Kodak C360 caught my attention. The reviews, though not fantastic, are reasonably good, and comparing its photos with other cameras, it seems to meet my needs reasonably well - I need something that is truly point and shoot for the wife, whilst leaving me with some flexibility.

Amazon UK has it for £100. Do you think this a good deal for this camera? I've also been considering the Casio QV-52 for £120.

I have a C340 I got for the wife. Check out some of my posts and see if it works for you. The C340 is the little brother of the C360 with fewer features but simular characteristics!

Oh yeah. That's a good price if it's new.

Thank you. Very nice pictures, inside and out.

£99.99 is the price for a new one. I'vr ordered it, and it should be with me shortly. I'll post a few snaps when I have the chance.

Jonny.

Please do Jonny. I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the ease of use this camera has. I know I was. And my wife has finaly found a camera she doesn't mind using! Makes for a happy couple when we share a hobby! She won't post on the forum though so I do that for her. Here are a couple of shots she took at night of some shop windows decorated for Christmas. Low light and no knowledge of how to shoot them. We are still working on keeping the photo level though. LOL
