After seeing Dawg's b/w shots I was inspired to go for a drive today! (also checking out pole lines for insulators,too..lol).It's been freezing rain and foggy here for over a week so I need more practice on winter shots..:-)..I used the b/w filter in Photofiltre for this one and for the elevator I used the camera's option..

No. 1 and 2 are wonderful shots. I thought no. 3 looked great too, but you seemed disapointed in it so with your permission I give you this:

Thanks Dan!..it's been warm here and foggy for over a week..making some nice hoarfrost laden trees in the morning..now if I can only make them look white instead of blue I would post some..lol.Still playing around with Manual..:-).Happy New Years!

Change the white balance to get the white color you want! Also a Skylite 1-A filter will help some too! Then play around with the Arperture and shutter speed! And Have fun!! LOL
