The c360 I ordered from Amazon arrived today, ahead of schedule.

It's smaller than I thought, but very comfortable to hold. The bulge on the right hand side where the batteries go is great for gripping. Nice tought, Kodak!

It's heavier than it looks, too. No bad thing. I hate those faux-metal cases typical of some camera (I think the Kodak 7530 is guilty of that crime), but this is pleasantly and reassuringly weighty.

Good screen. Not massive, but large enough for me, and bright too.

I'm still getting used to the controls. One tiny niggle is the mode dial. I can't just keep turing it one way to switch on, select a mode, and switch off. To turn it off, I have to reverse direction and go all the way back. But I'll get used to that.

Also, I can't change the quality within individual picture sizes. The is no ***, ** or * setting for 5MP for example. All I can do is change resolution. Again, not major, but the choice would have been welcome. I'll live with that too, as the quality of the pictures is really very good.

For £100 I think I have an excellent camera, so I am pleased.

Anyway, now for some pictures... All Macros at the moment. I'll take some standard ones when I go for my morning walk!

This is a macro of my rabbit's hind feet. Taken with zoom invoked. No flash. Processed in Photoshop Elements 3 to remove the colour cast caused by the sun streaming through yellow curtains.

This is a macro (no zoom) of my rabbit, Neroli, basking in the sun. She'd just had a very long stroke, and needed a rest. Bunnies love to bask, and Neroli is no exception.

Again, processed to remove a slight colour cast.

Neroli is a very special bunny. She was rescued from car park in Macclesfield (Manchester, England) four years ago. We drove a long way to collect her. She is so affectionate, comes when called, begs, goes back to her cage when told (usually)... a bit like a dog, but without the smells:blah: (I love dogs, really, and would love one if I had the time to look after it).

Anyway, she's quite difficult to photograph. Cameras have difficulty focussing on her fur, but the C360 is doing an great job.

Another great thing about thecamera is there appears to be virtually no shutter lag, so the moment I press the button, the picture is taken - vital for capturing those unique bunny moments.

I'll have to take some shots of my boys and post them. Just have to capture the right moment.
