With a storm brewing I knew the cloud cover was going to be perfect for a great sunrise. So off I went out in the desert at 4am waiting for it to happen. Here is Mount San Jacinto seeing its first sunrise for 2006.

Very nice views!

It's hard to find palm trees in NYC but not impossible, There are a big bunch (very tall ones ) in the attrium of the The World Financial District, Home of Ameerican Express(just across the street from the former World Trade Center).

Beautiful pictures Jim,2 & 3 are my favorite.Sometimes getting up at 4 in the morning when you don't have to can be eventful !!!
