The red face is a house finch I think.

I do not like to feed wild bird seed because strange things start to grow that makes me think of "Little Shop of Horrors".

If you mix in some cayane pepper it will keep the squrrels away without bothering birds.

I have suet feeders, lasts long and ground does not becom possesed.

Do you have a web cam?

With a long wire you can monitor feeder from you p.c.

Nice shots Dawg, good deal on the feeder. I need one of them now! I tried to shoot a cardinal this afternoon. He gave me eve3ry oppertunity and I couldnt get focused. I need that Tcon I guess now, and use the tripod too.But I got a tripod this afternoon, just didnt use it. I always enjoy your bird shots.

Don't need the web cam Bill as all I have to do is turn slightly and look at the feeder from my PC's resting place. As for the wild things growing up I only use safflour seeds therefore only safflours will emerge! No work at all as it only needs refilling from an 8 oz. cup everyother day!

Tell Mrs.Dawg I said thank you for letting you get the birdfeeder, she'll be proud of the beautiful pictures your getting, she'll have to try to get some herself with her new camera.

These are really good since you took them through glass ,did you use your polarizer and Tcon on this ??

Tried some myself this morning through the window,my cardinals came out blurry, but I did get this little critter
