I`m just sortin through my most recent pics, I live 2 mins walk from the beach, these lookout posts are dotted along the shoreline.This was a perfect coastline for enemy landing during the war, the nearby shipyard was shelled by a U-Boat from this point in the Irish sea.
DX6490, manual mode , hoya polariser

another 1 from the lookout, waited for the sun to go down,
this is why you have to buy a polariser , thats if you haven`t already

6490 manual, hoya polariser, straight from camera,just resized

Excellent quality and color in these photos. That 6490 is one heck of a camera in the right hands. And you are right about the polarizer.

Thanks all, I`m ok at the moment, and I`m enjoying using my camera again.Health wise I`m fine and hope to start back to work soon.
Somewhat daunting after 3 yrs on the sick :O:O
