Finally, avisable moon tonight, with no clouds (blocking it).

Grabbed theP850 andlens adapter, new T-Con (havent used it yet), and Tripod

Went outside and started settingup.

Then I heard anoise nearby. :O

Iquickly unscrewed the TCON, turned on the flash

and with the AF blinking RED - I snapped this shot (in the dark)

(if I would have only remembered the "redeye" setting - oops)

Techmo! That was a fine capture on that rabbit. I don't know if I would have reacted fast enough to get that one! Very nice moon shot too! Well how's the Tcon? Is it going to do what you wanted? I sometime in the future hope someone can show the difference between the 12X and 10X with the TCON-17 attached. Like to know how much difference there is. I've got a friend with one but he hasn't gotten and adapter for his yet! Anyway keep shooting and let me know if there are questions about the frames!

thanks dawg

that was actually the 2nd rabbit shot
The first one did not fire, as u may recall, my cam appears to havean intermittent flash defect...oh well...

When I saw the shot, it kinda freaked me out. I go out moon hunting and find a devil eyed rabbit lurking in the shadows. strange!

Idont reside in the country, so it'sstrange to see rabbits around in this suburban neighborhood.

T-Con is nice to have, but I really havent had a chance to take may shots with it.
It would be great for close up nature shots, for out door concerts, and anything that you need more zoom (you can never get enough zoom zoom).

at 1.7x it makes the 12x optical into 20x
it's noticable, but not a miracle worker.

Most folks think the TCON will work miracles and it won't. It will bring things a lot closer though. I know I've gotten many many shots that would have been lost if it wasn't for the TCON. I really like landscapes and shots of decrepit old structures. Doing this the TCON is not that useful! But when I'm shooting a humming bird the size of my little finger from thirty feet away it is a life saver!! LOL Happy shooting and beware of devil eyed rabbits!! You never know where they have been!!
