Nice pictures! You deserve a dawgnap for staying up sp late for "the cause".

I would do that in Marine park one night but they may not be able to locate my body in the dark and would not want to upset a searcher that may trip over my corpse.

Have you tried a time exposure to record star trails?

How would I do that with the DX6490?? Wouldn't want to be sued by a searcher's wife, just to get a moon shot. LOL Bob I'm lucky that almost all my neighbors are my relatives and they all know I'm crazy!!! LOL You should try a few and see what reaction you get!

I would have painted the trees with light Ed.

Next time, get your flashgun setup and fire it up the trees. Either that or grab a high powered torch.
It's a bit hit-or-miss, but when it works........
I agree with Paul, although you have captured a great moody scene there. In 16 sec you can do a lot of creative painting to bring out interestion details.

You surprise me all the time, Dawg.

I hope I can continue to surprise. Thank you for the compliment Tom. I try harder than I let on sometimes to continue improving my meager skills. You and many others have been kind enough to an old Dawg that I feel obligated to continue the line, so to speak and aid others trying to learn. Many thanks for your kindness in sharing your knowledge!
