I'm not an animal activist but am glad they don't do that much anymore. Was a cruel way to get the skins! Nice photo's Brian. Is anyone living in the oservation towers?

Dawg,no no one is using either tower,,and as for using animals for skins,,where they aren`t actually needed for coats anymore,,i have to agree, glad they are closed....but as i told a few people the other day, have you ever eaten veal,,,,which is worse skining an animal for hydes,,,or tieing one up so its feet never touch the ground, killing it as a baby,,,just for tender meat....i have to admit,we are a very sick race of mammals....with a very weird sense of right and wrong.....wouldn`t you all agree ????

Great pictures Brian and yes I have to agree with you, that's why I haven't and never will eat veal. There used to be a time though when people had to do whatever they could just to eat and stay warm, and I know there are still other countries that probably still do

Yeah Sandy never tried veal either,,,and also don`t like to think too much about the ways we treat animals that are intended for food,,wouldn`t take much for me to become a vegetarian i think....

Been there and tried that Brian. Gave in to barbque then steaks. Couldn't totally quit the red meat! Grew up with hog killings and chicken killing. Never thought much about it til I got in my twenties and started Yoga, Tried to go veggie but gave in to the urge and haven't looked back. Still don't like veal or lamb though!
