mild so far / it not over till its over. NY has had snows in Feb/Mar.

Troy is not in NY. It is in the Arctic zone!

My father worked for The A&P (Atlantic & Pacific Tea company) where they prrocessed and packed food for all the A&P supermarkets. They moved the plant from Brooklyn to Horese Head, just outside of Elmira, NY. They asked him if he wouldd be interested in relocating to continue working with A&P. At this time he did not have a car so he dialed the area code and then dialed for the weather report. I think this was in March and the recording said 3 feet of snow. The family stayed in Brooklyn and he never went north of the Catskill mountains.
