TY Boily- Try as I might I just could not get pic #1 to look as good as the others.

I was on the side of the highway, LOL, leaning over a bridge!

#2 and #3 are much better, and I am pleased with the both of them.

Thank you so much for the trouble you went to to get this! I very much apreciate it! Shots No. 2 and No. 3 are great. No. 2 is what I saw but from a great distance. My binoculars could see this but my little camera could not get it! No. 2 looks the more correct and natural but No. 3 is the most beautiful. I really like the sky color. We saw this when we first drove out to Tybee Island. It had my wife ooing and ahhing all the way! Now for the confession time. I wanted you to take this shot for both of us. For me it was pure selfishness. I really wanted a shot like this for my files and as a reminder of the trip we took to that area of this country of ours. For you I wanted you to see something and appreciate something that had been passing under your nose without notice for years. Kinda give you a boost to learn more of your particular part of the country. Makes you think doesn't it. How many other beautiful and historic things and places do you pass by every day and not notice or pay more than passing attention to! It's the familiarity that breeds not contempt but inattention to the Roses we fail to stop and smell! I hope you had fun shooting these. I know I'm having a blast looking at them and remembering a friend did this for me. I just hope you realize I wanted you to do it for you as well. Your friend ...

Thank you Dawg.

I have learned over the years to take every day as a gift and a blessing.

Thank you as well for reminding me of the fact that FRIENDS come not only in all shapes and sizes, but from all sorts of unexpected places as well

Thanks for pushing me to do more than I would have, and in the process having a great adventure. Which, by the way, I am posting next.

Your friend,

Tracy

Your welcome Tracy. I saw the other post and remembered you saying you'd never been there. I truly hope you enjoyed the trip as much as I'm enjoying the photos! Just remember where ever you go...There you are! LOL
