As I remember it had a certain smell too. Like a really old building. Kinda musty with age! Beautiful shots.

Didn't smell today- too cold and was about to rain, LOL.

Breeze turned into WIND, and blew everything else away.

You know how when it gets really windy all you smell is wind? That's how it was today.

Probably rolled them up ramps. They are all around the top of the battlements.

Kinda freaky looking, all that fire power pointed at an imaginary enemy. And in the end, it couldn't save them anyway.

There is a Civil War Memorial Park here in Missouri that I have been thinking about going and doing some shooting at. Your post makes me want to go even more now. I really bet you did have a great time taking them.
