second pic. I think they call it red rock canyon because some of the mountains area reddish color.

Awesome shots. I'm going to Tennessee in 4 weeks. What kind of settings should I be using for daytime mountain shots like that? :|

Thanks for the comment LSU, My camera doesn't have many manuel settings but I used Iso 80 and -0.5 on the exposure compensation mode. Good luck on your trip and hopefully we get to see some of your pics..

Don't be nervous LSU, its not like you can't delete them, now if we had film cameras then we would be in trouble.LOL:-). As far as posting don't worry about nothing everyone here is really cool and very helpful so if you have any questions feel free to ask someone here is bound to have the answer.
